How did your career in photography begin? And what was it like for a woman to work in photography at that time?
My career started by chance. After attending the Arts High School and, for a brief period only, the Fine Arts Academy in Turin, the city where I was born in 1947, in 1968 I moved to Rome where I found a job as apprentice in a graphic studio.
